Brittany Powell

Brittany S. Powell is a public health professional and Program Manager at Virginia State University (VSU). Within the VSU Honors College, she leads initiatives such as the Troyals Medical Scholars program, preparing students for careers in medicine, public health, research, & allied health professions. She collaborates closely with the Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research and the Center for Outreach & Treatment Through Education & Research (Ce. OTTER) to promote health equity, workforce development, and community engagement. As a member of the VA-AHEAD Community Data Translation Team, Ms. Powell represents VSU’s commitment to turning data into action and amplifying community voices to advance equitable health outcomes across Virginia.
